P-b r433 scored this row n (GATE: block) on a harness race: the row stops zt2's daemon and starts a stock TUI seat with CCC_HOOK_AUTOSTART=0; the seat registered with the daemon down (plane-down frame 18:12:47Z), then another live zt2 seat's hook — which runs without CCC_HOOK_AUTOSTART=0 — started the daemon at 18:12:50Z, before the row's own cccd start. The restore and the send worked.

The row now reads, from daemon.log(.1) in order: the seat's plane-down frame, the next daemon start, and that start's 'stock seat restored' line naming the seat — whichever process made the start. caught needs those plus the cache entry and the send reaching the seat; n only when the log has no plane-down frame naming the seat (the daemon was up at its SessionStart).

Checked: the parser on r433's log (race) and r435's log (row's own start) finds both lines in each; bash -n under bash 5.3. rounds/steps.d/75-identity.sh only; no CHANGELOG line (release-check diffs install.sh ucc skills.md UPDATE.md).

Another live zt2 seat's hook, which runs without CCC_HOOK_AUTOSTART=0, can start the
daemon seconds after the row's seat registers with it down (r433, 18:12:47Z -> 18:12:50Z).
